today's the 2nd day of orientation. out of 27 ppl in my class, less than 20 ppl turned up. my ogls tot that they really went to Sentosa for outing {inside joke} :) early in the morning, the plans was to go to sports complex for water games but it starts to rain. so we ended up in the forum till 10.30am, doing some stupid cheers and dance. we went to the basketball court to play captain balls. when there's only 14 ppl playing in my class. we were split into 2 grps. so there's 7 pathetic souls in one grp. in the end my grp managed to beat our opponent by one ball despite the shortage of ppl. :) afterwhich we went to the football field to play soccer and touch rubgy however we ended up sitting there chatting to our ogls. :)
i found that my class rep, Alfred is Justina Ang's brother. Justina was the hse captain of Pankhurst hse in Crescent 3 yrs ago. if he didnt tell me, i couldn't tell the resemblance between the two of them. the ogl who's frm Crescent told me that both of them don't even look alike!
we've lunch at fast food canteen. i've macs. the macs in NYP is cheaper than outside. for instance, fish fillet meal costs $5.60 at usual price but it costs only $4.30. :) i've no idea whether i'll grow fat during the next 3 yrs.
we played business games after our lunch. it was the best part of the day. my grp was in charge of selling sweets. Alferd being the enthu one, volunteered himself to assist us even though he's not in my grp. we went ard the campus, begging ppl to buy frm us. we managed to earn 15 bucks in just 15 mins. whenever the ppl walked past us, they'll try to ignore us. but unfortunately we went right up to them and persisted them to buy. after which my class nid to sell fruit punch to earn profits. since we still had some more sweets left, we decided to sell them off to cover the profits for our drinks. in the end we earn so much that we are left with so many cups of fruit punch. so we'll have to finish up by ourselves. i drank a total of 3 cups b4 i surrendered. after the game, 4 more ppl went home. so there's only 10 souls left in my class, 5 guys and 5 girls. we went for bridge making. basically we've to make a bridge out of straws and satay sticks. my class was a total failure in making this kind of stuffs! we spend so much time that we've to left for our next game without fully finished our artpiece.
the last game i played b4 i left for my book-keeping course is water game. we had to use our mouth to carry the plastic cup with holes @ the bottom to a red pail filled with water. scooped up the water using our mouth and the cup and put into the pail given to us. only 8 of us played this game cos the other 2 guys couldnt run. :( we've to challenge with other classes who have more than 20 ppl. so we've to run many times! but the game is fun-filled! i got myself drenched as our ogls cruelling splashed water at us as they wish.
